26th June 2016 – 3 days after the Referendum

A few people have had a go at me about my “Dear Morons” open letter, saying it is unnecessary, doesn’t help, or that I should just accept the result and make the best of it. Well, tonight I went to my local night shop, run by a couple of very sweet guys originally from the Swat valley who fled from the Taliban and were given asylum in Belgium. They told me that they have friends and family in England (legally) who told them that they are scared to leave the house because they’re immigrants. So, no, it is not unnecessary, harsh, or unjustifiably angry. England is no longer my country. You’ve taken it back, and you’re welcome to it.
