7th July – 2 weeks after the Referendum

[In response to Theresa May promising to be “bloody difficult” in Brexit talks with the EU.]

The Moronathon not only continues, but even deepens!

Brexit talks will involve the UK begging the other 27 member states to be permitted by them to a) leave in an orderly fashion, rather than simply fall into a legal black hole after 2 years; and b) join the EEA with all of its responsibilities (paying into the EU budget, free movement of people, implementing EU law with no say in the making of it etc.). In what way would being ‘bloody difficult’ help in this endeavour? How, utterly, wilfully, earth-shateringly ignorant would it be to do this? The UK is asking the EU for something, not the other way round.
